WHAT PARTICIPANTS ARE SAYING ABOUT OUR WORKSHOPS
“This class was great! I learned so much for the price ! At first I was a little skeptical because of the low price, but you get so much for your money ! Janine teaches you how to make it as an actor with or without an agent, how to present yourself at an audition and more ! This information was so relevant to what I am interested in. It was totally worth it ! ” —Kim D. -
“I had a lot of fun. I feel I learned a lot and loved the feedback. I look forward to working with Janine again.”
- Aileen M. -
“This was the best $50.00 I have spent to date in this industry… We were there from 10:00 AM till after 8:00 PM. I have prior training from years ago but needed to brush up as I just got back into the industry 8 months ago. WOW, I cannot say enough…If any of you take your career serious, Do Not Pass this by next time around, all 10 of us that attended the 7/28 class left extremely happy… I still can’t get over how beneficial this was and the PRICE cannot be beat!!! I paid $150 for a workshop a few months back and pretty much came out with what I went in with minus the $150.. The critique was amazing with my on camera work.”
- Keith Rafalko - http://m.imdb.com/name/nm5088706
“It was a GREAT Workshop well worth the $50! We began by learning all the basics of getting into the industry (headshots, resumes, slates, audition do’s and don’ts, etc.) and ended with scene studies where EVERYONE acted on tape several times. All members of the workshop were given one-on-one time with critiques & tips on how to improve, and were able to view their performances to make sure everyone left a better actor than when they arrived. It was awesome to see how much we were all able to improve from one take to the next by following Janine’s advice! I definitely recommend this workshop to anyone interested in making acting a career. Be sure to bring paper and be ready to take notes because all 8+ hours are packed with valuable information!”
- Garrett Pace -
“As someone whose been around the industry for several years now, it was refreshing to meet with someone who is in this industry because of their love of the craft and not simply for the money. Janine takes most of her payment in the pride she feels after helping an actor nail a new skill. She is a rare gem who really works hard to do all she can to make sure you leave her workshop with a sense of accomplishment and hopefulness for your future in acting. Janine has been acting and writing for many, many years and you can tell right away that she really knows a LOT about what it takes to be successful in this field. This workshop teaches the major differences between the right and wrong ways to sell yourself as an actor or actress during an audition and also provides insight as to how and why a professional presentation will allow you to obtain more bookings. Of course my favorite part of the workshop was the opportunity to see myself on film and then to listen to the feedback and critique of the performance so that I could take that perspective and then try the script again in a way that utilized Janine’s very practical and helpful comments. My husband and I feel so blessed that not only have we been able to attend her workshop, but we have the pleasure of working with her as my husband’s agent. She is a true “teacher” and we look forward to attending more of her workshops in the future!”
- Miranda B. Pace -
“Janine is a wonderful, talented woman who wants to help every individual in the class and actually cares about them. She goes over lots of helpful material in the acting/modeling business. Her class was only $50 for an 8 hour session. There is no more costs once you step in the door, and no pressure. I enjoyed learning so much about the world of acting and what it takes to be discovered. This class was so helpful to me and I would recommend it to anyone who has confusion about the acting world or just wants to enhance their acting skills. You even get a video of the progress you made! A+ class.”
- Brittany Norris -
“Honestly, I think this workshop is extremely helpful for those trying to understand the “business” and what is involved in breaking into it. Janine is realistic and passionate, both respectful of those wanting to dive into acting, and a voice of reason and caution regarding its pitfalls and challenges. The videotaping portions were helpful and fun, and her willingness to linger and answer any questions, provide books and resources, was evidence of her servant leadership style. I found it fascinating, because I lacked awareness of the culture and logistics involved in the work. Absolutely NOT a scam, and well worth the $50. I think even nonactors would find it enriching, since television, movies, etc are so large a part of the modern culture.”
- Jocelyn Rezek -
“I had no idea what to expect for $50 but was pleasantly surprised at the end of the day for what I got for my money! I learned more from this one day class, than I’ve learned in the past 10 workshops I took. Definitely worth going to if you are a new OR seasoned actor. You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain. GO FOR IT !”
